My volunteer journey began in 2024 with Thrive Causemetics and Beauty 2 the Streetz, whose partnership inspired me to use my skills and talent beyond glam for clients and projects and into something more personal and purposeful. Seeing how beauty could restore dignity, confidence, and joy. That experience became the starting point of my mission to make an impact through beauty, leading me to continue showing up for others through workshops, community events, and creative collaborations that celebrate care, confidence, and connection.

Thrive Causemetics honored me by naming one of their Empower Matte Lipsticks after me — Shade: Leti. I was so humbled and grateful for this recognition, which serves as a reminder that purpose-driven work in beauty can create meaningful and lasting impact.

Impact Through Beauty is a personal project I created to give back through what I know best — glam with purpose.
There was a time when I couldn’t afford cosmetology school or even my first makeup kit, but my parents made sacrifices so I could chase this dream. Now, as a licensed cosmetologist and full-time beauty creator in Los Angeles, I’m in a position to give to others the way my family once gave to me.
This project started with sharing makeup donations — gifted products from beauty brands that I knew could empower someone else. But it’s become more than that. It’s about building confidence through beauty, especially for those going through tough seasons.
Whether it’s a makeup lesson before a job interview, a self-esteem workshop with youth, or simply showing someone how to see themselves with love — I believe beauty can be a bridge to healing, growth, and self-expression.
Originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, and raised in Dallas, I’ve been volunteering since I was a teen — from youth programs to nursing homes. That spirit of giving still drives me, and now I bring it into my work here in L.A.
This isn’t just about makeup — it’s about helping people feel seen, supported, and confident in who they are.
