Impact Through Beauty is a personal project I started because I want to give back in a meaningful way. There was a time when I couldn’t afford to go to cosmetology school or even buy my own makeup kit, but my family—especially my parents—sacrificed what little they had to help me chase my dream. Now, as a licensed cosmetologist and full-time makeup artist and beauty creator based in Los Angeles, I’ve been fortunate enough to receive products from amazing beauty brands. Instead of letting these products go unused, I realized I could pass them on to help others who are facing tough times, just like I once did.

The mission behind Impact Through Beauty goes beyond just donating products. It’s about using my skills as a makeup artist and beauty creator to build confidence and empower people who need it the most. Whether it’s offering a simple makeup lesson to someone preparing for a job interview, or hosting workshops to help build self-esteem, my goal is to make an impact that lasts far beyond the makeup.

I’m originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, and I grew up volunteering in ASL classes, nursing homes, and youth programs in Dallas, Texas. Those early experiences shaped my desire to help others, and now I’m excited to share my talents with the community here in LA.

While I love creating beauty content and tutorials, my true passion is using beauty as a tool for empowerment and self-expression. This project is deeply personal to me, and I hope to make a real difference in the lives of the people I work with—helping them not only look good but feel good, inside and out.

What I Do:

My Experience with Thrive Causemetics

In February 2024 , I had the incredible opportunity to partner with Thrive Cosmetics as part of their volunteer team.

I traveled to Las Vegas to Volonteer with Beauty2TheStreetz women’s shelters and individuals experiencing homelessness. As a makeup artist, I provided facials, makeup tutorials, and product guidance to help these women feel seen, cared for, and empowered.

This experience opened my eyes to the deeper impact beauty can have—it’s not just about enhancing someone’s appearance, but about building confidence, creating moments of connection, and helping people feel valued. That day marked a turning point for me living in Los Angeles, inspiring my mission to use my skills for a bigger purpose: to make a real difference in people’s lives, one step at a time.

What I Offer

I’m excited to collaborate with organizations and foundations to offer a variety of services that foster confidence, creativity, and self-expression. Here’s how I can help:

Workshops on Self-Esteem and Confidence-Building:
Hosting group sessions that focus on self-care, personal style, and building self-esteem, with the aim of helping participants feel empowered both inside and out.
Makeup Lessons for Job Interviews:
Empowering individuals by teaching them simple, polished makeup techniques to help them feel confident and prepared for job interviews.
Confidence-Boosting Mini Photoshoots:
Giving participants the chance to see themselves in a new light through photoshoots designed to make them feel empowered, valued, and beautiful.
Basic Content Creation Tutorials:
For those interested in social media or beauty content creation, I offer tutorials on creating ‘Get Ready With Me’ videos, skin prep routines, or crafting their own signature makeup looks—opening doors to new skills and creative expression.
Makeup Donations for Special Occasions:
Offering makeup kits and products during key events or holidays, giving individuals the opportunity to feel special and celebrated during important moments.
