My volunteer journey began in 2024 with Thrive Causemetics and Beauty 2 the Streetz. Their partnership inspired me to extend my skills and talent beyond the glam sphere of beauty for clients and projects, delving into a more personal and purposeful mission. Witnessing how beauty can restore dignity, confidence, and joy fueled my commitment to make an impact through beauty. This experience sparked my dedication to continue supporting others through workshops, community events, and creative collaborations that celebrate care, confidence, and connection.

Impact Through Beauty is a personal initiative I've launched to give back through what I know best — beauty with a purpose. There was a time when pursuing a career in cosmetology felt out of reach for me, as I couldn’t afford cosmetology school or even my first makeup kit. However, my parents made incredible sacrifices so I could follow my dream. Now, as a licensed cosmetologist and full-time beauty creator in Los Angeles, I’m dedicated to giving back to others in the same way my family once supported me. This project began with donating makeup — gifted products from reputable beauty brands that I knew could empower someone else. But it has evolved into much more than that. It’s focused on building confidence through beauty, especially for those facing challenging times. Whether it’s providing a makeup lesson before a job interview, hosting a self-esteem workshop with youth, or simply showing someone how to appreciate their own beauty — I firmly believe that beauty can be a powerful bridge to healing, personal growth, and self-expression. Originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, and raised in Dallas, I've been volunteering since my teenage years — from youth programs to nursing homes. That spirit of giving continues to drive me, and now I bring it into my work here in L.A. This initiative isn’t just about makeup — it’s about helping individuals feel seen, supported, and confident in their authentic selves.
